Payment and delivery

General
We ship all goods as parcel post with GLS or Post Danmark, which makes it possible to track the parcel in case of problems. The goods are insured during shipping and at reception, we kindly ask you to control the content of the parcel. Is the parcel and/or the content damaged at reception please report to the responsible courier service within two days after reception and return the goods to us subsequently. Thesophie.dk is not responsible for goods damaged under transportation. We always pack the goods with great care to minimize the risk of damages.
 

Delivery
At thesophie.dk we aim for a fast delivery and all orders are shipped within 2-3 working days. During public holidays or sale, please allow for a longer delivery time. Thesophie.dk cannot be held responsible in case of delay at Post Danmark or GLS.
In case of much delayed goods (several days) or failed delivery, thesophie.dk will make a new shipment free of charge. Please be aware that delivery to smaller islands can take up to 5 working days.
Shipment to other European countries and countries outside of the EU, will be shipped with UPS and delivery can take up to 7 working days.


Shipment to the EU
Denmark 50 dkk. Other European countries 150 dkk.


Shipment abroad
All shipments abroad will be delivered by UPS dispatched as insured business parcel meaning that goods cannot be shipped as a present to countries outside the European Union in an attempt to evade local taxes and customs.

  • Standard shipment within Europe takes approximately 2-4 working days.
  • Standard shipment outside Europe takes approximately 3-6 working days.

Collection of Goods
Collection of goods is also possible but only by request. Please email us at contact@thesophie.dk should you wish to do so.
